One of the highest paid actresses in the Indian television industry, Rupali Ganguly has been ruling the TV screens for quite some time now. She is the face of Rajan Shahi’s serial Anupamaa, which speaks about women empowerment and how women need to stand up for themselves no matter which phase of their life they are experiencing. Ever since it started airing in 2020, the show has been topping the weekly BARC ratings. In a recent interview, she has credited her professional success to her husband Ashwin Verma for taking charge of the house.

Having established herself as a versatile actress with projects like Anupamaa and Sarabhai vs Sarabhai, the actress was on a sabbatical for seven years after giving birth to her son Rudransh as she wanted to enjoy his childhood and be a ‘hands-on mother.’ In an interview with ETimes, she revealed that it was because of her husband Ashwin that she was able to return to the small screen. She explained how he willingly took a back seat and took the responsibilities of the household chores so that she could focus on her career. The 46-year-old went on to state that she considers herself very lucky to have such a supportive husband. For the unversed, having known each other for more that two decades, Rupali and Ashwin tied the knot in 2013. They welcomed their son Rudransh in 2015. After being on a hiatus, the actress made her big comeback with Ranjan Shahi’s Anupamaa.
